If a purchase fails on Windows, the issue is typically with your Microsoft account or Windows Store settings. Here are the most common solutions.

Check Your Windows Region Settings

If the country on the purchase page is wrong, you must update your region in Windows.

  1. Select Start > Settings > Time & Language > Region.
  2. Under “Country or region,” select your correct region.

Check Your Account Type

Microsoft does not allow in-app purchases with work or business accounts. Your company will need to purchase Concepts for Business instead.

Update Your Microsoft Account Payment Info

  1. Log in to your Microsoft account online.
  2. Ensure the payment card on file is up to date with the correct information.
  3. The card's country must match the region set in the Windows Store.

Clear the Windows Store Cache

If the steps above do not work, try clearing the store cache.

  1. In the Start search bar, type wsreset.exe.
  2. Right-click the result and select “Run as administrator.” A command prompt window will open and then close as the store resets.
  3. The Windows Store will open automatically.
  4. Restart your PC.
  5. Open Concepts and try the purchase again.

If you still cannot make a purchase, please contact the Microsoft support team for assistance. We do not have access to your account information and cannot resolve payment issues directly.
