What is Shape Recognition? 

Drawing perfect shapes is a challenge for everyone. Concepts provides multiple ways to do this, from drag+drop Shape Objects to Shape Guides to higher levels of smoothing. Shape Recognition is the latest method, where you can quickly sketch a shape by hand, then without lifting your finger/stylus, stay in place for a short time (default is 0.8 sec, configurable) and Concepts will attempt to recognize and replace your shape, even if drawn with multiple strokes. We call this the Draw+Hold gesture.

Supported shapes include straight lines, arcs, arrows, triangles, squares and rectangles, circles and ellipsis, and various 4-sided polygons. We plan to add support for additional shapes over time.
