Activate a perspective grid from the Settings menu and use the Align drawing guide to help you sketch objects in 3D perspective.
Set Up Your Perspective Grid
- Navigate to Settings > Grids.
- Scroll to find the one, two, and three-point perspective grids. Tap a grid to activate it.
- Tap the grid again in the menu to edit its settings, or exit to the canvas to begin drawing.
Draw with the Align Guide
- On the canvas, open the Precision menu.
- Tap the options next to Snap and choose Align. This allows your strokes to align with the grid without snapping directly to grid lines.
- Tap the Snap toggle in the Precision menu to turn the drawing guide on or off.
- Draw on the canvas. Your strokes will follow the lines toward the vanishing points of your chosen grid.
Important: While Concepts is a 2D sketching app, perspective grids help create a realistic illusion of depth. The Align guide works with each grid type as follows:
- One-Point Perspective: Draws horizontal, vertical, and orthogonal lines toward the single vanishing point.
- Two-Point Perspective: Draws vertical lines and orthogonal lines toward the two vanishing points.
- Three-Point Perspective: Draws orthogonal lines toward any of the three vanishing points.
