Concepts for Windows and Android supports several export formats to fit your workflow. You can export your drawings as:

  • JPG: A standard image file at 72 dpi resolution.
  • PNG: A high-resolution image file at 300 dpi that supports transparent backgrounds.
  • SVG: A standard vector format. Note that textured strokes will not appear the same as in your drawing. For best results, use the Fixed Width, Wire, and Slice tools.
  • DXF: A vector format compatible with CAD software. Like SVG, this format does not support textured strokes.
  • PSD: An Adobe Photoshop file format that preserves your Layers for use in the Creative Cloud.
  • PDF (Vector Paths): Exports your drawing as simplified vector paths that can be edited in other vector applications. This is a Pro feature available via subscription or as a one-time purchase from the Pro Shop.
  • PDF (High-Res Flattened): Creates a flattened, high-resolution version of your drawing that preserves all textures in a non-editable format. This is also a Pro feature.
  • Concepts (.concepts): The native Concepts file format. Use this to back up your drawings or share editable files with other Concepts users on Windows and Android. To use this format, find the Save As... option in the menu.
