When you export a drawing, you have several PDF options. PDF-Flattened creates a high-resolution image-based PDF, while PDF-Vector Paths creates an editable vector PDF for use in other applications.
PDF-Flattened (Image)
This option flattens your drawing into a single, high-resolution image within a PDF file. The contents can be viewed and printed, but not edited as individual strokes or layers.
PDF-Vector Paths (Editable)
This option packages your vector data so it can be opened and edited in other vector software like Adobe Illustrator. However, compatibility varies between applications.
Important Compatibility Notes
- Concepts' unique textured strokes will be simplified to basic vector paths in other apps. For the most predictable results, draw with the Fixed Width and Wire tools from the Tool Wheel.
- The Hard and Soft Masks are not supported by other vector editors and may appear as solid white lines.
- To permanently erase lines for export, use the Slice tool instead of a mask.
