You can set a precise line length in Concepts using the Measure feature. It works when drawing live with a tool set to 100% smoothing or by setting a length on the Line Guide before you draw.

Measure with 100% Line Smoothing

  1. Select a tool on the tool wheel
  2. Tap the smoothing icon and slide it to 100%. This allows you to draw instant straight lines.
  3. Open the Precision menu and tap Measure to activate it.
  4. As you draw, a live measurement tag will show the stroke’s length based on your drawing's scale.

Measure with the Line Guide

  1. Open the Precision menu and tap Guide. Select the Line Guide from the guide options.
  2. Enable Measure in the Precision menu.
  3. To set an exact length before drawing, Tap+Hold the measurement tag on the guide. Enter your value into the keypad that appears.
  4. Pro Tip: Double-tap the crosshairs at the center of the guide to constrain your drawing between the handles. This ensures your line matches the length you set.

Editing an Existing Line's Length

  • Select any line on your canvas.
  • Tap the length value (e.g., L:x) in the status bar at the top of the screen.
  • Enter a new value in the keypad to adjust the line’s length. It will either Scale or Stretch the stroke based on your setting in the Selection menu.
