You can turn Shape Recognition on or off in the Interaction section of your Settings.
- Tap the Settings icon in the Status Bar.
- Select the Interaction tab.
- Scroll to the Draw & Hold section.
- Tap the toggle next to Shape Recognition to turn it on or off.
