You can add Concepts widgets to your home screen on iOS and iPadOS. Widgets showcase your work and act as shortcuts to quickly open or create drawings.

How to Add a Widget

  1. Tap+Hold an empty area on your home screen to enter jiggle mode.
  2. Tap the + button in the top corner.
  3. Select Concepts from the list of apps.
  4. Swipe to choose your preferred widget size and tap Add Widget.

How to Configure a Widget

By default, the widget shows drawings from your most recently active folder. You can customize this.

  1. First, add a folder to your widget list: open Concepts, Tap+Hold a folder in the Gallery, and select Add to Widgets.
  2. Go to your home screen, then Tap+Hold the Concepts widget.
  3. Select Edit Widget.
  4. Tap Folder and choose your preferred folder from the list.

Widget Settings

  • Sort Order: Show the most recently updated drawings or a random selection.
  • Duration: How often the widget changes when Sort Order is set to Random.
  • Style: Display a grid of images or a single image (the grid is not available for the smallest size).
  • Show: Choose to display drawing names, the folder name, or no text at all.

Bonus: You can tap a drawing thumbnail to open it directly, tap the folder name to go to that folder in the Gallery, or tap the plus button to create a new drawing instantly.
