There is an issue with the Intel driver for the Xe graphics chip which causes flickering and strokes to randomly disappear as you draw. This has been solved in newer versions of the driver.

Customers with HP devices

Update to the latest Intel Graphics driver using one of the following methods:

#1: Check the HP Customer
Support - Software and Driver Downloads
 site to obtain the latest update for your product model.

To resolve this issue, download and install the Intel graphic driver v30.0.100.9864 or newer version. HP recommends keeping your system up to date with the latest software.

#2: Install driver updates using HP Support Assistant

HP Support Assistant is designed to help you manage software updates;perform the following the steps:

  1. Make sure the computer has an active Internet connection.
  2. Search Windows for and open HP Support Assistant.
  3. Click Updates and check for updates & messages.\
  4. If updates are needed, HP Support Assistant displays a list of important and recommended updates. Select the updates you want to install, then click Download and install selected updates.
