Problems with file locations can cause Concepts to crash.

Adding external networks or drives to your Files app can cause problems with document bookmarks. This is a bug in Apple’s file handling and we have reported the bug. Until the bug gets fixed, bad network shares can cause the app to crash on startup or the drawings not to open. To fix this problem:

  1. Go to the Files App.
  2. See the section called "Shared" in the sidebar on the left.
  3. Tap on the shared network name.
  4. Tap on the eject button next to the network name to disconnect from the network.
  5. Go back to Concepts and dismiss the FAQ window. Then tap the "Try Again" button.
  6. If this doesn't work repeat the process with the other shared networks until ejecting one of them fixes the problem.
If removing the network shares does not fix the problem it is possible it is caused by an external location. In this case, follow these steps:
  1. Go to the Files App.
  2. Check the list under "Locations".
  3. Tap the “...” icon on top of the sidebar.
  4. Select “Edit sidebar”.
  5. Disable third party locations one at a time
  6. Go back to Concepts and dismiss the FAQ window. Then tap the "Try Again" button.
  7. Once you find the location that causes the problem leave it disabled.
