While Concepts does not have a dedicated symmetry tool, you can create symmetrical designs by duplicating and transforming strokes with the Selection tools.

  1. Sketch one segment of your symmetrical design.
  2. Select your sketch with the Lasso or Item Picker.
  3. Tap the Duplicate button on the selection popup. The new copy is now selected.
  4. Use the Flip and Mirror icons on the popup to transform the duplicated segment.
  5. For angled symmetry, Tap+Hold the angle field in the status bar at the top of the canvas and enter a precise rotation value (e.g., 30 or 45 degrees).
  6. Move the duplicated segment into place. You can repeat this process to quickly build complex radial designs.

Pro Tip: Set up a reference grid to make symmetrical drawing easier. Activate a grid in Settings > Grids, then enable it on the canvas from the Precision menu. Drawing with 100% smoothing can help you create clean reference lines on the grid.
