You can back up your drawings and projects to ensure your work is always safe. We recommend regular backups.
Manual Backup
You can export your files to any cloud service connected to your device's Files app. This is the most direct way to create a secure backup.
To drag+drop individual files or multiple files from within a drawing:
- Tap+hold+drag on a drawing, then tap on additional drawings to add them to the stack.
- Swipe from the bottom screen edge with another finger to reveal the command bar and open Files.
- Drag the drawings into your file of choice.
To drag+drop a full project into Files:
- Open your Project menu at the top left of the status bar. This will reveal a drop-down menu of all of your projects.
- Tap+hold+drag your project, then swipe upward with another finger to reveal the command bar or app switcher and open Files.
- Drag the project into your file. Note that the project will save as individual files, not in a pre-created folder, so if you have a large project and you're interested in keeping it together in a folder, create the folder in Files first.
Automatic Device Backup (iOS)
You can enable your device's automatic backup feature (e.g. iCloud Backup for iOS) in your device settings. This will back up all app data, including your Concepts drawings.
Important: Backing up is different from syncing. Syncing mirrors your data across devices, so deleting a drawing on one device will delete it everywhere. A backup is a separate copy that you can restore from if you accidentally delete something.
