This can happen if Concepts was downloaded or updated while you were signed in to a different App Store account than the one used for your in-app purchase. Apple only provides a valid digital receipt if you are signed in with the purchasing account, which we need to recognize your Pro status.
To solve this, you will need to back up your drawings, reinstall the app, and restore your purchases.
IMPORTANT: You must back up your drawings before deleting the app to avoid losing your work.
Back Up Your Drawings
- Open the iOS Files app and navigate to On My iPad.
- Create a new folder and name it something memorable, like “Concepts Backup”.
- Navigate back and open the main Concepts folder.
- Tap Select in the top right corner.
- Tap each drawing folder to select it.
- Tap Copy in the bottom bar.
- Navigate to the “Concepts Backup” folder you created and tap Paste to paste the files.
Reinstall and Restore
- Once you have verified that your drawings are backed up, delete the Concepts app from your device.
- Sign in to the App Store with the Apple ID you used to make the original purchase.
- Download Concepts from the App Store.
- Launch Concepts and tap to open the Pro Shop and then tap on Restore purchases.
- After verifying your purchase is active, you can move your backed-up drawings from your backup folder back into the main Concepts folder in the Files app.
