The Selection tool gives you the power to modify anything you draw. You can select strokes to change their position, color, tool, size, opacity, and more without redrawing.

Selection Methods

Use the toggle in the popup at the bottom of the screen to switch between selection methods:

  • Item Picker: Tap to select a single stroke. To select multiple strokes, tap the first one, then tap additional strokes with another finger.
  • Lasso: Tap and drag to draw a loop around all the strokes you want to select at once.
  • Color Picker: This is a separate tool for picking existing colors and tools from your canvas, not for selecting strokes to edit.

Adjusting a Selection

Once you have an active selection:

  • Use one finger to move the selection.
  • Use two fingers to scale and rotate the selection.
  • Tap control points (the dots at the corners) to activate them for advanced stretching and skewing.

Important: Use the popup menu to choose whether you want to select from All layers or just the Active Layer Only.
